Prescott's Pristine Goldwater Lake Fun 'N Scenic Loop Trail - approx. 3.5M,2?Hrs

Its getting hot 🥵in here, so lets escape up north, hi above 6,000', where the air is cool 'n fresh. We'll be strolling mostly in the🌲trees, under massive canopies of ponderosa pine, alligator juniper and oak provide cooling shade as the route winds around the lakes. Flora, fauna, bald eagles, hawks, song birds and ducks should be plentiful!
As always, we'll take this hike at a leisurely pace, and we'll stop often.

🚘Take I-17 north. Exit 262 for AZ-69N toward Prescott. After 34 miles, merge onto E Gurley St. In 0.7M, turn ⬅️left onto S Mt Vernon Ave (becomes Senator Hwy). After 4 miles, Watershed TH is on your ⬅️left
Driving time - Should be about 80 to 90 minutes drive from N Phoenix.
