What we’re about
This Meetup group is for parents of children with autism who are looking to explore and try alternative therapies beyond Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
We focus on truly engaging our autistic family members on their own terms! Our goal is to bring together families with open-minded professionals who are curious about improving the quality of therapy, education, and general support.
Topics include early interventions and diagnosis, connecting with other parents in the autism community, helping form friend groups including kids on the spectrum, training volunteers, sibling support, and many other topics!
Our group also welcomes adults on the autism spectrum, providing a supportive space. Join us to discuss behavioral and mental health strategies, learn about current research in the field, and build a network of support for families living with autism.
