Phx-Starters Reboot Online Event

We're ready to reboot Phx-Starters!

Given covid-19 we'll be hosting our events online until it's safe to meet in real life. Most likely this will be done via Zoom with a link to be shared soon, though if we get a very large group we may need to stream it as a webinar. We'll add details as soon as we see the early RSVP count.

Thanks also for filling out the survey on preferred dates/times and topics. We're going to start with a mix of topics based on your feedback.

First, we'll have Luis Montes share the technical stack and details with a startup he's currently building.

Then I (Dylan Schiemann) will talk about what I've learned about going through the VC process during covid-19, and talk about some of the pros and cons of conducting all meetings remotely.

We'll conclude with an open round of Q&A and discussion.

Update: Due to low RSVP count for the original date, we've pushed this back to November 4th.

Update 2: I hate to postpone this again, but I probably shouldn't have scheduled this the day after the election. Given that it's a new start for the group and we're quickly running into the holiday season, I'm going to switch the new start for the group to January. See you then!
