TypeScript 2019: Improvements and Developer Ergonomics

Our May meetup is planned for the 22nd of May at DriveTime who will provide refreshments and pizza!

In March Dylan presented TypeScript 2019: Improvements and Developer Ergonomics at the ESRI conference and we're bringing it to the meetup! We'll talk about how TypeScript has improved developer ergonomics over the past year; how types have improved development for engineers; and what we can look forward to in the future.

Type this Way, our live typing exercise, is also scheduled where we'll take one or two bits of JavaScript code and add types in front of the group and go over the trade-offs and considerations made.

We'll also have one free ticket to give away for HalfStack, https://halfstackconf.com/phoenix/ , a one-day, single-track, UI-centric JS conference which is coming to Phoenix for the first time! HalfStack will be held at the Alamo Drafthouse in Chandler on January 17th.
