Aspen Corner and Aspen Loop Trail fall photography in Flagstaff Meet Up

Join us for a hands-on landscape photography event in the beautiful landscapes of Flagstaff! If you want to experience fall amongst the aspens, come along!

Connect with fellow photography enthusiast. Don't miss this opportunity to hone your skills, network with like-minded individuals, and create memorable photos of the stunning landscape.

We will meet at Aspen Corner at 9am and take in the fall colors and walk around the trail. We will then head up to Aspen Loop Trail to capture images. Do both, or just one, up to you.

Location & Directions:

Aspen Corner is located near Flagstaff, along Snowbowl Road, just off US-180. To get there from Phoenix:

Drive north on I-17 toward Flagstaff.

Take exit 340A to merge onto I-40 W.

Take exit 191 and follow US-180 N for about 7 miles.

Turn right onto Snowbowl Road, and you'll find Aspen Corner on your left after about 5 miles.

Gear Recommendations:

• Wide-angle and telephoto lenses for capturing larger scenes and detailed close-ups of leaves.
• Tripod for stable, long-exposure shots.
• Polarizing filter to reduce glare and enhance the color of the leaves.
• Extra batteries (the cold and shooting time can drain batteries faster than usual).
• Warm clothing and layers, as temperatures in the Flagstaff area can be chilly, especially in the morning.

Aspen Corner sits at around 8,500 feet, so stay hydrated and take a slow stroll to enjoy the colors if you're not used to the elevation.

The Aspen Nature Lollipop Trail (Aspen Loop) is a 2.0-mile loop near Flagstaff, Arizona. This trail is moderately easy and is known for its beautiful display of aspen trees, particularly stunning in the fall when the leaves turn bright yellow.
