Tonight, for the first time in this all new workshop we will discuss office narcissism in order to provide tools to identify, manage, and mitigate toxic behaviors from grandiose or manipulative coworkers and managers. Some of the topics that will be discussed tonight will include:
* The Narcissistic Company Structure
* How the HR or Human Resources System is Inherently Problematic
* Differentiate between healthy confidence, everyday difficult behavior, and clinical or extreme narcissistic traits in the people you work with.
* Practicing tactical interaction methods like the "gray rock" approach, the "Yellow rock" approach and other methods to use against problematic people at work
* Discussion of systematic racism and misogyny in career systems

YOUR ORGANIZER: Kerrin began her legal career as a public defender and represented patients who were facing involuntary detention or commitment in a mental health facility. Throughout her 20 years as an attorney since she has worked with social workers, and mental health professionals to guide criminal defendants toward treatment and community supervision as an alternative to incarceration. She is also the daughter of a narcissistic mother and believes many of the mental health issues she's struggled with on her own were brought about by long term emotional abuse. After being diagnosed with C-PTSD in 2021. she has worked with several therapists in creating The C-PTSD Workshop : a 6 part Series which uses the teachings and recommendations of Dr. Judith Herman in her book Trauma and Recovery to guide participants through understanding and treating Complex Trauma. With a 27 year long career in the VERY narcissistic career of law and insurance, she is eager to discuss the issues above and looks forward to workshopping this very important subject.
