Trip Sitting: A Discussion on Best Practices

Come on out and join us on Sept. 9 at 7:00 for a discussion on how to be a good sitter for someone taking a psychedelic journey. We will be hewing closely to Jim Fadiman's protocol for trip sitting as elucidated in his book "The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide," touching on each of the 6 important foundations for producing the best possible outcome: Set, Setting, Substance, Sitter, Session, and Support. Have you sat for someone? Come share your experience and knowledge of what did and didn't work for you. Are you thinking about sitting for someone? Bring your questions and concerns and we will do our best together to leave with a bit more confidence in the process and a tool kit of best practices to rely on. Until these substances are legal and we have access to trained professionals who can provide this service, many of us will rely on our friends and loved ones to hold the space and help us come out the other end better for the journey. And when it comes to this important work we do for each other...well, why not shoot for impeccability, right?!
