Psychedelics and Creativity

Psychedelics have long acted as cultural catalysts, injecting doses of novelty and fresh perspective into the collective conscience and rebooting the societal software. Artists, writers, musicians, hackers, makers, movers and shakers of all types have traditionally been the channels of this novelty, and it is no accident that they have also been the population most closely associated with the use of these chemical compounds. Have you used psychedelics for inspiration and vision in your particular creative enterprise? Wanna come talk about it and share it with the rest of us? This is a bit of a departure from previous meetings in that this will be a performance night to some degree. So...if you know that you would like to share your whatever it is you do--along with maybe a little info about how this work was influenced by your psychedelic experiences--let me know via the message board so I can be sure we have enough folks to make the night work. We got a stage, a PA and a coupla mics, and there will be a projector as well. So if your thing is audio, visual, or neither of the above we should be able to accommodate you. And if you don't have anything to share but just wanna watch and listen that's fine too. Should be fun and interesting and maybe weird...
