Join us on Saturday, August the 16th, for a scenic and refreshing hike to the Bull Pen Watering Hole, a hidden gem near Camp Verde, Arizona. We'll meet at 7:15 AM at the Albertson's on Carefree Highway. From there, we’ll caravan north toward the trailhead.

This is a moderate 3-mile roundtrip hike that winds along West Clear Creek and ends at a beautiful swimming hole surrounded by red rock and lush greenery. You should expect a 45 minute brief hike each way. Expect light creek crossings, small cliffs for jumping, shaded areas, and a relaxing spot to cool off at the end, so bring your swimsuit if you'd like to take a dip!

Perfect for those looking to escape the Phoenix heat and enjoy a casual but adventurous morning outdoors.

Pets are welcome but must be leashed.

The Bull Pen trailhead is accessible via a dirt road. 4 wheel drive is not necessary, but Sedans are not recommended. SUVs only.
