Our Triumphant Return to the Bristol Renaissance Faire

One of our most attended events is happening again on July 24th! At 9:30 am, we will meet TO THE LEFT of the main entrance before entering the grounds. The Ren Faire players put on a small presentation before the gates open at 10 am (and that's usually a fun little event to shoot as well.) If you absolutely cannot make it before we enter, we will have a second chance to gather at 11 am, between Guest Services and the Maypole, just inside the entrance. After that, you are on your own. This is perfectly fine if that's what you want to do, but what typically happens is small groups naturally form and head out to different areas of the grounds, depending on what you are interested in shooting.

This is one of those events where every time you turn around, there is something interesting to shoot, and the Faire's cast members will literally jump in front of your camera looking to get their picture taken. Lots of fun scenery, shows, and people to photograph here.

This Meetup is scheduled from 10 am to 1 pm, but the Faire is open until 7 pm, so feel free to stick around as long as you like.

While this is a FREE meetup as far as Meetup goes, you are still responsible for your admission fee to the Faire. I would recommend getting on the Faire mailing list or waiting until discounts start popping up everywhere. Tickets are listed at about $25, but I've never paid anywhere near that to get in.

And a quick personal note, STURDY BEGGARS MUD SHOW and MOONIE THE MAGNIF’CENT are reason enough to go.. The dozens of other events and performers are just icing on the gravy.
