Worldwide Photowalk (Copenhagen)

As always, I first announce the yearly Worldwide Photowalk here, but for some odd reason, I messed up, and the walk wasn't published as usual, giving members of the Facebook group a head start in registering.

The walk will take place Saturday October 7th. 2023 at 1.45 pm, and we will start the walk Outside the main entrance at Nordhavn Station (S-train). This is also where we will end the walk, at a nearby cafe for a beverage and to socialise.

Even though the roster might be full already, you can still sign up, and will be automatically added as there is room on the roster, and even if - come the day of the walk - you still haven't moved up on the roster, you are still more than welcome to join us.

It IS however important to note, that participation in the contest-part of the walk requires for you to register in the official Worldwide Photowall website.

For this years walk we will be taking a trip around Nordhavn (North Harbour), where we will have plenty of opportunity photographing some of the new areas of this harbour-front area. We will be walking along four major quays/wharfs in the harbour, where – in the past – the merchant ships used to dock to offload their cargo. While large cruise-ships still dock in the areas, many of the old docks are being converted into a buzzing new residential- and office area, with opportunities for shopping, enjoying the sun at the harbour front, while enjoying a cup of coffee or a sandwich from one of the many cafe’s in the area. We are usually 50+ walkers for this event, and many of the walkers come from the [photo-cph group here at meetup.com](https://www.meetup.com/photo-cph/).
