Hope Valley Fall Jaunt

We will meet up in Hope Valley in the Tahoe area and search for fall color and maybe wildlife. This has been a fun meetup in the years past. We will start the day exploring around Hope Valley and shooting the fall colors and creeks. Bring a lunch or we can grab something in the area and we will break for a picnic with some awesome views. I will be in the area ahead of time to scope out the best places for our shooting based on the leaf scenes at the time (hard to predict 2 months out). Bring your favorite landscape lenses, including a wide angle for down in the creeks. A longer lens is also good for compressed landscapes and for wildlife possibilities. We will meet at the parking area across Hwy 88 where it meets Hwy 89 in Hope Valley. It is recommended members carpool from the Sacramento area as we will be pulling off the road in places with limited parking. The activity level will be "easy" with short walks to aspen groves or to a creek. No hikes are anticipated.
