Photo on the Move

Hi, I'm a passionate photographer and I want to organize sessions to take photos, learn about photography, and exchange ideas.

Anyone will be welcome, with any technical level, and any preference about the gear (mobile, digital, film, etc.). The goal is to learn from each other.

Our activities include photo-walks and sessions to present and discuss our work. Our focus will not be technique. We will discuss about how to craft a story with photos. How to initiate, develop, and curate photography projects.

For each photo-walk we have two themes: One conceptual, and one technical. For example, movement will be the concept, and panning will be the technique.

Even if you want to be photographed (instead of taking photos) you can join us and give our members an opportunity to practice portraits.

I have been taking photos for 20 years, presented my work in multiple expos, and took photos as profession for a couple of years. I also have experience with a wide range of gear (cameras, lights, digital, film, etc.). So, most probably I can answer your questions as long as you don't ask me how to take a photo for Vogue magazine cover.

All sessions will be free, unless extra cost is imposed on us. (for example, renting a studio to learn how to work with studio gear, or just paying for the table when we sit in a cafe).

I'm from Iran and I speak a bit of French, but my preferred language is English. In any case, our language will be our photos, not our words.
