The Stranger

Saul Steinberg addressed the issue strangers with a series of masks.. He explores the idea that we never really know someone. We never really know ourselves. This concept has been addressed in many forms; conversation, writings, music, art.

This month we tackle the question of "strangers". Photographs may be of people you don't know or self portraits of yourself the public one you show people or the private one that hides.

My plan is to create a paper bag mask, in the style of Steinberg.

Photographs must be less than 15mb and submitted to the gallery in order to be included in the video gallery for the night of our meetup.

Limit to 10 photos. Due by Wednesday night, midnight on the 18th of Feb.
