Wayoh Reservoir walk - Sunday 23rd January 2022

Clicking off 2022 with a Wayoh walk on Sunday 23rd January !!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
To mark the new year and an attempt to beat the challenges thrown at us in 2021, lets kick 2022 off with an easy 3-4 mile walk around Wayoh Reservoir (near Darwen), naturally weather and Government approval permitting.
Its an easy picturesque 3-4 mile walk around the Wayoh reservoir that we have been around before, with a couple of small car parks. However if anyone wants to come by train (Entwistle train station) we can try to link up at a convenient point.
Meet at Batridge Road Car Park (BL7 0LU) 10.00am, ready to start the walk at 10.30am. Note have suggested the walk will take 4 hours - it can be done much quicker but we have learnt to allow for plenty of photo stops!
Bring walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing and a lunch / drink.
Please indicate if are interested in coming and as we are re-launching the group for 2022 feel free to ask questions and/or make any suggestions. The great thing is you don't need a big camera - many of the best photos that have been taken on our walks are with iPhones and Samsungs!
The following event will likely be an urban walkabout similar to Manchester last year and we'll add evening walks / informal photography "tuition" as the year goes on,
