All levels are welcome, digital or film: New to photography, hobbyists, part-timers, even pros: Meet others in the area that are also interest in photography! Each meeting has a different topic; if you are interested in that topic, then RSVP "Yes" and come to the meeting. If you are not interested -no problem! -but please RSVP with "no".

Mission Statement: We are dedicated to the advancement of photography as art, hobby and profession.

We help our members reach their full creative potential by:

· Sharing ideas and information on all aspects of photography.

· Providing regular programs and competitions for members.

· Creating a space for constructive dialogue, feedback and criticism.

· Providing advice, help and encouragement.

· Providing or sponsoring lectures, demonstrations, and exhibitions for the benefit of the community.

· Providing opportunities for good fellowship and mutual aid.

Family Day at Buggy Barn and Pine Moore Studio, Blanco TX

Family Fun Day at Buggy Barn and Pine-Moore Studio (Old West Town), 1915 Main St, Blanco TX, 7 Nov. Enjoy touring the Buggy Barn and Old West Town. Events include World Champion Knife Throwers demonstrations and teaching people to throw, Reenactment Cowboy group show at High Noon, Chuckwagon cooking with food and drinks (extra cost), kids races, old-time country music and Pistol Packin Paula shows at 11:30AM and 2:30 PM. Masks required where you feel needed outside, but masks required inside. Free parking. Cost $15 for Adults, $10 for children under age 12, and $10 for Seniors. Please pay at Gift Shop as you enter. Bison "Reilly" and Longhorn cattle on property. Come and go as your schedule permits--no host event due to hours and activities.

Thank you • Thank you to all of the volunteers and participants at the 8th Annual San Antonio Photography Tournament. • As always, thank you to Wendy Riggs for making the folders and to Robin Landers for the other responsibilities in making the monthly photographer's challenge run smoothly each month. --------------------------- 2. Next Meeting: Thursday, Nov 12th Presentation: "The New World of Content Creation" LUMIX Global Ambassador, Todd White will talk about his set of preferred tools for content creation. From video content to photos, what tools are key to generating successful and compelling content for clients. Audio, lighting, lenses, stabilizers...etc. We'll cover it all. Todd will also talk about his recent global campaign for the new LUMIX S5 camera and some of the processes he went through in creating that content. Bring your questions and let's dive into the world of content creating across multiple needs/uses. Bio: Todd White is a LUMIX Global Ambassador and specializes in fashion and commercial videography and photography. His client list includes Facebook, Pinterest, The Alamo, Neiman Marcus and various fashion designers. Todd has photographed with many country music artists including Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and George Strait. His commercial work has been published in Vogue, British Vogue, Elle and People as well as other publications. He is an Emmy award-winning Producer and Videographer for the Daytripper TV show on PBS. Todd also partners with Saramonic and Nanlite for audio and lighting in his productions.
