What we’re about
Photographers and Models is a meeting and learning event for photographers and models, either experienced or new to photography, or somewhere in between.
At our events, we will explore a multitude of camera features including, but not limited to apertures, shutter speeds and long exposures. We will also explore studio strobes versus constant LED lighting, while working with composition and posing to capture great photos!
Each meeting will have a theme associated with it, for example, Composition, Camera setups, Lighting, Posing, etc. Bring your cameras, your questions and your creative ideas. A digital SLR or film cameras are welcome.
Meetings will take place in my Franklin Park studio, which encompasses a 600 square foot studio with a changing and makeup area for models. There is also an attached house designed as a studio with beautiful vintage decor. The house includes a bedroom, living room/dining room, full kitchen and a full bath with a claw foot tub! Perfect for bringing your photo shoot ideas to life during our meetings, workshops or seminars. There is also plenty of free on street parking.
The intention here is for people to grow their network and build their portfolios.
Stay tuned for upcoming events!
