Learn to Shoot a Silky Waterfall

Details

So many people ask us about settings for shooting silky waterfalls, let's go! something local since it is about the learning not necessaily the location. Southford Falls.

We will walk around and help you get your setting right for those awesome silky waterfall images.

Bring your tripod.

Bring your polarizer.

Bring your neutral density if you have one.

Looking to purchase a ND Filter? Here are some tips...

• buy one for the biggest lens you have (77mm? 82mm diameter) and purchase some step up rings (cheap) for your other lenses

• variable ND filters are better than straight, but if cost is an issue but a one stop instead of a graduated.

• you get what you pay for as cheaper ones have a wicked color cast. We recommend Singh Ray ($$$), the Lee Big filter and Tiffen.

Tiffen 77VND 77MM VARIABLE ND FILTER ~$150 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Z55VP0/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004Z55VP0&linkCode=as2&tag=lissphoblo-20&linkId=K3LYM7REKJRJFYGU)
