Photograph snow geese, eagles, herons, birds, landscapes, sunrise, sunsets, etc

Come and photograph some amazing snow geese blastoffs, plus photograph Sunrise, Bald Eagles, and other Birds.

We will provide tips on composition, exposure, sharpness, creativity, ICM (intentional camera movement), and more. If you have never experienced a snow goose blast off it is awesome! The cacophony of the wings and the sight is amazing!!

Bring your camera and lenses (you will have access to your car), a tripod can be handy for sunrise, but you can handhold all day if you choose. All skill levels and all camera are welcome. $249

Location is ~170 miles from the GW bridge.

NWR pass, Transportation, Lodging, meals, and admission to the preserve are on your own. Any hotel in Dover in Smyrna or Dover DE is fine.

Pass NWR: If you have a federal duck stamp or a park pass, bring it, otherwise purchase a pass when you get there. https://www.fws.gov/refuge/Bombay_Hook/visit/fees.html. The Electronic Duck Stamp, or E-Stamp, allows customers to buy Federal Duck Stamps online for immediate use. When you buy an E-Stamp, you will receive an E-Stamp certificate. This certificate is unique to the purchaser and is valid as a Federal Duck Stamp across the nation for up to 45 days from the date of purchase. Within that time, a physical Duck Stamp will be mailed to you. Your E-stamp certificate may be printed out or downloaded onto your mobile device and must be carried on your person while hunting waterfowl. As soon as you receive your physical stamp, you must sign it and use it for hunting. Your E-Stamp certification is no longer valid once you receive your physical stamp. Regardless of whether you received your physical stamp, after 45 days from the date of purchase, the E-Stamp certificate is no longer valid. COVID. Tom and I are both fully vaccinated. This in an outdoor event. Here is what you need to know and comply with:
• Anyone who is sick with COVID-like symptoms must not attend.
• Anyone who has a fever over 100 degrees must not attend. Please check your temperature BEFORE you leave home.
• If you signed up for a workshop and have a positive COVID test please contact us ASAP.
• Anyone who has knowingly come in contact with a COVID positive person within the past two weeks must not attend.
