Slate Hill Flower Farm- Date is almost certain :)

Details
I found this to be an ideal place for sunset last summer. It was gorgeous. The picture here is from that night. I spoke with one of the owners and she said she is pretty certain that June 27th is the night we can go and they will again offer a boxed dinner. I'm waiting for her to announce on her FB page.
Slate Hill Flower Farm is a small, artisan, flower farm nestled in the hills of Sharon Springs, N\Y where they specialize in growing lavender, everlasting flowers, and sunflowers for drying. It is located about an hour west of albany (more or less). Slate Hill Flower Farm
You will want to bring your tripod, a wide angle lens, long lens and filter in case of shooting sunset.
This is a description from last year's events fyi:
"Kick off your weekend while the lavender is in bloom with an evening on the farm. Visit the farm and enjoy Golden Hour when the sun sets on our beautiful valley. It is the best time on the farm for light and to watch the sun set. Cut lavender, take in the view and savor a boxed dinner from Brimstone Bakery while you begin your weekend. Back Barn Brewing Company will be here with their summer beers and cider that are currently on tap. Boxed dinner menu: Grilled Mediterranean Chicken with Hummus and Summer Salad & Orzo Salad with Black Currants & Almonds, Fresh Fruit, Water, and Brownie or Cookies. Ticket includes boxed dinner for 1, and one bunch of lavender."
