Portraiture (9 Session) 5/22 -7/17 Wednesdays 8:30 PM-10:30 PM No Class 6/19

This course explores both the intangibles of art portraiture and the concrete specifics of client-based portraiture. The work of successful photographers both in candid, formal, and commercial portraiture will be analyzed and harvested for both their technical and aesthetic merits. $355-$375.

Course covers: Introduction to Portraiture styles & history, Portraiture composition, Directing the sitters, Environmental portraiture and Portrait lighting using hot-lights, & a live professional model photo shoot.

Requirements: a) Digital SLR or Point & shoot with Manual options (Aperture & Shutter speed). b) Basic Photography knowledge.
