Photograph the Summer Carnaval in Rotterdam

We will visit and photograph the Zomercarnaval in Rotterdam. We will watch the parade that will have more than a thousand people dressed up in extravagant costumes representing their exotic cultures. It's gonna be a very colorful and festive event, perfect for street photography and (street) portaits.

The parade will start at 1 pm at Blaak. We will catch the parade at the Karel Doormanstraat, near the central station.

It's hard to predict how long this Meetup will last, but I would say: long. I estimate that we will be there for at least 3 hours. But of course you can always leave earlier, whatever works for you.

STAYING TOGETHER
On crowed events like this it is easy to loose track of each other. So we should all keep an eye on each other.

MEETING POINT
We meet near the metro exit that is on the main square (Stationsplein) in front of Rotterdam Centraal station. The exit/entry has a yellow M above it. Be on time, don't keep the group waiting and make me improvise on how to catch up with you.
