Let's time travel to the Civil War Days!

Join us for the 33rd Annual Civil War Days Living History Event in Huntington Beach Central Park. This unique event features historical encampments, costumed reenactors, period demonstrations, military drills, live music, and one of Southern California's largest Civil War battle reenactments.

Whether you're interested in history, photography, reenactments, or simply experiencing something different, this event offers plenty to see and photograph. Expect opportunities for portraits, action photography, historical costumes, and candid moments throughout the day.

Parking
The event website recommends parking at the Huntington Beach Library parking lot. However, attendance is usually high and the lot may fill up. If necessary, additional street parking can be found in nearby residential and industrial areas.

Tentative Plan
11:00 AM — Meet and begin exploring the event
12:00 PM — Lunch (food vendors available)
1:30 PM — Civil War Battle Reenactment
2:00 PM — President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address
3:00 PM — Head home
