Zürich FREE Photo Walk for Beginners and Pro's

Thank you Holi for wearing the Santa outfit and providing us with amazing photos and fun in 2023! Hopefully, we might convince him to do it again if we a) behave the whole year and 2) send him the photos soon after the event 😇.

This is the last "standard" Free Photo Walk from 2024, let's make the last one count!! This is a FREE event, but you may feel FREE 😉 to give an OPTIONAL contribution, keep the group rolling and allow me to bring more activities to us all. That can be done on the day, via PayPal or here.

Photographer's Release: ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO WISH TO PHOTOGRAPH MODELS MUST SIGN A COMMITMENT EACH PHOTOWALK. Signing confirms your participation as an assignee under the TFP contract, granting you the right to use the images you capture. You may join without signing if you do not photograph the models. Sign it BEFORE the event here.

We will meet around the Bahnhofstrasse area and explore its surroundings with the freshly installed Christmas lights. In previous years, we had loads of fun around there while producing gorgeous images. If the weather is too crazy, we might need to change the plans. I strongly recommend that you check this page on the day of the event AND sign up for admin messages on the Meetup website/app.

As it is going to be quite dark at that time, a tripod and some lights are nice to have, but certainly not required, we can do a lot with the city lights!

For this Photo Walk, I would suggest that we exercise/experiment:

• Street photography
• long exposure
• Composition, especially leading lines
• High ISO

If you need some help with those ideas or techniques, drop me a message and let's do it together. Please write in advance as on the day of the event it might be difficult to organise something.

I will invite models to this event but I cannot make promises on how many will come or the model x photographer ratio on the free photo walks. If you want to join specific events with models, they will be made available here and on our Facebook group.

Meeting at 18:30 for "meet&greet", and also for the signing of TFP contracts that might not have been e-signed **. The actual Photo Walk starts at 19:00.**

If the event is full and you don't want to wait for eventual cancellations, get in touch through meetup@chaya.photo, there are 5 spots reserved for patrons, and maybe there is one still available.

The location might need to be changed due to bad weather, check back to see if there are any changes. It will happen regardless of the rain!
