#Photowalk305, established in 2019, is a monthly photography event held at various locations throughout Miami.
#Photowalk305 invites analogue & digital photographers to examine different ways of seeing, experiment with different styles of photography, expand on our creativity, explore and become more acquainted with our city, and to meet / socialize with / learn from fellow photographers.
We meet, greet, and eat at selected locations, then walk around the neighborhood while exploring a particular theme or photography style.
We build on our skills while building community.

#Photowalk305 x Yo Miami go to Frost Science
Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, 1101 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL, US#Photowalk305 is a monthly event held at various locations throughout Miami. Join us for an afternoon at Frost Science with Yo Miami!
This special event in collaboration with Yo Miami will take place at the Frost Science Museum. We will meet-greet-eat at the Food@Science café.
For this photowalk, we will be delving into COLOR HUNTING. Participants will be assigned a color and will have to photograph based on that color. Participants shooting in B&W can do VISUAL STORYTELLING, creating a narrative with a single image and with various images.
Being that this photowalk is indoors, we will also explore shooting at a higher ISO and experimenting with different apertures and shutter speeds, relying on whatever light is available, be it halogen, fluorescent, tungsten, or neon lights, and focusing on how lighting renders the subject / object and environment.Make sure to upload your photos from this event onto your social media platform and hashtag #photowalk305 and tag + add @photowalk.305 and @itsyomiami as collaborators on Instagram to have your photos shared and featured!
This event is FREE!
RSVP is required as it is limited to 40 attendees.
Please note: Parking is $18 flat rate at the garage. We encourage nearby street parking, rideshare, or public transportation – there is a Metromover stop at the museum.This photowalk is open to analogue & digital photographers and enthusiasts of all levels.
