#Photowalk305 is a monthly event held at various locations throughout Miami. Join us for an afternoon of photography, food, & fun!

This month’s #Photowalk305 will take place in Downtown Miami. We will meet, greet, and eat at Naked Farmer, then we will take a ride on the metromover through Downtown and Brickell, where we will walk off the food while taking photos around the area.

For this photowalk, we will be delving into VISUAL STORYTELLING and DOCUMENTATION. Participants will explore creating a narrative with a single image and with various images. Participants will also document the architecture, structures, and scenery of Downtown Miami and Brickell, to record whatever pieces of history remain in this rapidly-changing urban landscape.
Being that this photowalk is in the late afternoon, we will also explore nighttime photography, shooting at a higher ISO and experimenting with different apertures and shutter speeds, relying on whatever light is available, be it halogen, fluorescent, tungsten, or neon lights, and focusing on how lighting renders the subject / object and environment.

This event is FREE!
A $10 donation is suggested and appreciated, but not required to RSVP.
