Women’s #Photowalk305 Day!

#Photowalk305 is a monthly event held at various locations throughout Miami. Join us in celebrating all the females in this International Women's Day photowalk!

Photography has been and continues to be heavily dominated by men. And thus, it is necessary to cultivate spaces where women feel empowered and safe — and free from the male gaze — to express and explore their femininity and creative endeavors.

This month’s #Photowalk305 will take place at Miami Beach Botanical Gardens in Miami Beach. We will meet & greet at Pride Park, then we will take photos as we stroll through the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, make our way to Collins Park at The Bass, and finally down to Pura Vida on Collins Ave where we will conclude the walk with a well-deserved feast.
The theme for this photowalk is Honoring the Feminine, connecting with the women in the group as well as with Mother Nature, finding the feminine in everything we observe. We will be exploring nature photography and portraiture. We will be shooting around noontime, and thus we will also explore how the lighting and shadows render the subject and the scenery.

A $5 donation is suggested and appreciated, but not required to RSVP.
