8:30pm onwards - PHP discussions, more drinks and networking 😊

Talk #1 will be from Peter Richard, 'From The Stone Age To The Cloud'.

Peter will be telling us a personal story about how he migrated some really old code to something a bit more modern. Peter is a full-stack contract developer, and has been coding for the past 40+ years.

Talk #2 will be from Derick Rethans, 'What's new in PHP 8.4'.

During this presentation, we are going to look at the new features that
are going to be introduced in PHP 8.4. Join us to have a look at
Property Hooks, Asynchronous Visibility, Improved HTML5 parsing, and
many other features.

At the end you will have a good understanding about all the new and
exciting features that are part of the PHP 8.4 release.

About Derick:
Derick Rethans is a PHP internals expert and author of Xdebug. He works as an independent contractor and consultant on PHP extensions, the PHP language through the PHP Foundation, and related projects. He also runs Xdebug Cloud, a service for teams to help with remote
debugging on a shared development server.
