AND

Gabor Javorszky discussing 'Testing in PHP with Pest, and why the most important feature of testing is not what you think!'

Gabor has been testing his applications in Go ever since he started using Go 5 years ago. The same story is not true in PHP. PHPUnit hasn’t always been kind and then he briefly gave up for a few years. In a new project Laravel and Pest came along. Here’s how they made Gabor enjoy testing in PHP again!
Gabor has been using PHP on and off for a little more than a decade. As a senior engineer at a corporation, he knows the importance of testing and the safeguards it can provide. Outside of staring at screens, he enjoys getting around on two wheels, lifting heavy circles, and the occasional project around the house.
