PHPBenelux Virtual Meetup May 2021

Time flies when you’re having fun! May is here and with it comes another PHPBenelux Meetup. This month we’re going to dive deep into scaling WordPress with Kubernetes and we will have a look under the hood of PHP 8.

Of course we will have our monthly raffle and a cosy chit-chat session afterwards.

🗣 Koen Van den Wijngaert - Scaling WordPress on Kubernetes
In this session, Koen will tell us a thing or two about the challenges of scaling a WordPress based application. After the boring stuff, he'll do a hands-on showcase of an auto scaling demo environment running on Kubernetes.

🗣 Tom Van Looy - PHP 8
PHP 8 is available for 6 months. In this session we take a look at the features, the adoption status of it by frameworks and the community, and what we can expect from PHP in the future.
