In this talk, Benjamin shows you how to build a metric and logging stack with open-source tools.
Application metrics and logs can help you to make sense of your application in production which allows you to find errors faster and spot potential performance issues.
As Lead Developer for the more that 50 developers for the CHECK24 hotel vertical, he has a lot of experience finding crazy bugs, profiling performance issues and optimizing our complete stack from network over code to database.
He will tell us which tools they use to manage the state of all their services on more than 70 production servers, 30 database instances serving more than 100.000 queries per second.
