Debbie has over 10 years experience in Frontend development and she is also a Google Developer Expert in web technologies. Next to being a GitHub Star and an international speaker, she is a teacher at Vue School and Jamstack Explorers, while she’s is known as a writer for Ultimate Courses as well.
There are many reasons to choose static in this dynamic world. But first let’s go back in time to the 90’s, the good old days, and understand how static sites started. Then let’s talk about how we ended up in the server world and now why we are going in a server-less direction and why we are all talking about the Jamstack. Let’s take a look at what the benefits of building static sites are, why you should use static sites as well as some performance tips.
David is Coding Architect at SQUER, a Viennese Software Company, which is working with different stacks and environments, but always an overarching mission: connect ideas and provide impact — with technology. He spends much of his time on the frontlines tackling the challenges of scaling software and complex domains, with a strong focus on reactive systems, cloud-native architectures and state of the art web technologies.
In his presentation, David will explain the different possibilities to implement MicroFrontends in the past, the present, and the future. More importantly, he will leave you to know which of the available approaches is best suited for your specific task at hand. Everyone should be able to take something from this presentation — people who are already experienced with the concept of MicroFrontends and also those who are new to this topic.
The event was sponsored by Sprintform Europe Ltd. and Greenfox Academy.
