API Design with Swagger
Denys Dorofeiev, Westwing Home & Living GmbH

At Westwing, we faced a call to design an API that external parties would use. It had to have a proper documentation, offer ways to easily develop client applications, and be straightforward to extend. We've decided to use Swagger for that - the world’s largest framework of API developer tools, and are very happy with it. I'll explain what Swagger is and how we used it in our project.

Denys has been a PHP developer for almost 5 years now. The last 3 years he has been working in Munich for Westwing GmbH as backend developer and team lead. He really likes to design and write clean, reliable and understandable code and is very interested in Linux, computer science and poplar physics.
