This is a True Working Workshop (Not Just Talk)

Let’s be frank: this isn't a passive slide lecture. We're here to roll up our sleeves, experiment, and actually ship stuff together. Ask questions! And show up with an idea already!

Last month, an attendee walked in with an idea he’d been sitting on forever. With a little encouragement from the room, some advice from peers, and free AI tools, he built it, pushed it live to GitHub Pages, and walked out with a launched project that night.

We want more of that:

  • Beginners: Don't be intimidated! You don’t need deep coding experience. Bring an idea, and we’ll help you get unblocked and ship something real.
  • Experienced Devs: Bring your favorite stacks, run local models, mentor others, or finally knock out that stubborn side project you’ve been putting off.

What We’ll Hack On:

  • Local AI: Running models directly on your laptop (Ollama, LM Studio) for $0—no subscriptions, no API keys.
  • Zero-Cost Hosting: Wiring up real apps using generous free tiers (Cloudflare, GitHub Pages, Google Cloud).
  • Open Build Session: A quick kickoff to share ideas, then the rest of the night is wide-open hacking, troubleshooting, and testing workflows together.

What to bring: Your laptop, a charger, and an idea to hack on.
