Steven leads the team behind LeRobot. He drives the open-source project that is becoming the "PyTorch of robotics": one library covering teleoperation, datasets, training and deployment of policies on real robots .
HuggingFace has made robot learning accessible to everyone - from $100 robotic arms to a fully open humanoid.
Under his lead, LeRobot shipped its biggest releases yet, an integration of NVIDIA's GR00T models, and a paper published at ICLR 2026.
