Spark Talks is a fun series of short talks on all kinds of STEM topics, shared by members of our community. It's a chance to hear something new, gain new insights, get inspired by what others are working on, and maybe even find a new hobby to explore!

Come join us for some interesting short talks. (I'll update this list as we get speakers.)

  1. Determinants - Abhir will talk about the geometric visualization of row operations of a matrix in linear algebra.
  2. Star - George will talk about how stars work.
A pdf file containing the slides is available with this link:

  3. TBD

After the talks, stick around for 1-on-1 discussions or discussions in small groups.

During the meetup, remember to follow these guidelines:
* Be courteous to your conversation partners.
* Don't monopolize time. Give your partners a fair share of speaking time.
