Quantum Field Theory

This is an advanced study group dedicated to the rigorous study of Quantum Field Theory. The following prerequisites are assumed:

- Linear Algebra
- Multivariate Calculus
- Ordinary and partial differential equations
- Quantum mechanics,
- Electromagnetism and Special Relativity.

Our main textbook is Mark Srednicki's "Quantum Field Theory," which is available online: https://web.physics.ucsb.edu/~mark/ms-qft-DRAFT.pdf

The format of the meetup is as follows:
- We meet every two weeks
- In the first 30 to 45 minutes, we discuss problem solutions from the previous assignment
- In the remaining time, volunteers will present the current assignment.

For this meeting, please:
- If you haven't done so, please do problems in chapters 1-3
- Re-read chapter 3, if needed, and then chapter 6. 4 and 5 are optional.
- Solve problems in chapter 6

In the next meeting, we will go through the problems of chapters 1-3 and discuss chapters 3 and 6.
