Quantum Field Theory

This is an advanced study group dedicated to the rigorous study of Quantum Field Theory. The following prerequisites are assumed:

- Linear Algebra
- Multivariate Calculus
- Ordinary and partial differential equations
- Quantum mechanics,
- Electromagnetism and Special Relativity.

Our main textbook is Mark Srednicki's "Quantum Field Theory," which is available online: https://web.physics.ucsb.edu/~mark/ms-qft-DRAFT.pdf

We are not going through every chapter sequentially, but instead we are following a "short" path to the standard model, by reading these chapters:
22 -> 24 -> 33..39 -> 42->43 -> 54..58->69->70->75->87->88->89

The format of the meetup is as follows:
- We meet every two weeks
- In the first 30 to 45 minutes, we discuss problem solutions from the previous assignment
- In the remaining time, volunteers will present the current assignment.
