This is an **advanced study group** dedicated to the rigorous study of Quantum Field Theory. The following prerequisites are assumed:

\- Linear Algebra
\- Multivariate Calculus
\- Ordinary and partial differential equations
\- Quantum mechanics\,
\- Electromagnetism and Special Relativity\.

Our main textbook is Mark Srednicki's "Quantum Field Theory," which is available online: https://web.physics.ucsb.edu/\~mark/ms-qft-DRAFT.pdf

The format of the meetup is as follows:
\- We meet every two weeks
\- In the first 30 to 45 minutes\, we discuss problem solutions from the *previous* assignment
\- In the remaining time\, volunteers will present the current assignment\.

This meeting is going to be the first one with the new book. We begin with an ambitious goal to gauge the team's pace:
\- Read chapters 1 through 4 and do all the problems\.
