May 2025 Piano Meeting - in NW Washington

Hello piano players:
I am excited to announce our May 2025 meeting – it will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm at the home of Sarah Hocutt. Sarah is a member of our group and her address is 1409 Buchanan St NW DC 20011. She also hosts music events through GroupMuse, so she is experienced in hosting events. Thank you Sarah for offering to host!
Sarah has a Kawai upright from the 1990s that is in very good condition. She has hosted professional pianists with her piano. We would like to start at 2:00 pm so please show up a few minutes early. Late arrivals often disrupt the music.
Also, reach out to a friend and work up a duet – they are fun and always welcome. In the past we have had duets with two pianos, with singers, and with the clarinet, and they bring a nice variety of music to our meetings.
We will have snacks, finger food, light drinks, beer and wine, but your donations of food and drink are always welcome. Parking is on the street near Sarah’s house.
