Hello, Piano Friends,

Our Winter Showcase is here! So many of you have agreed to be a featured performer. We are bursting at the seams with performers and have been plugging this event through social media. I also expect you all to recruit as many of your friends and family members to support us!

Please read this message carefully for final details!!!

1. The run time for our program, including a 10-minute intermission, is approximately 100 minutes. As usual, there will also be a cover charge of $10 for all attendees and performers. Please be sure to bring a food item to donate to a local food pantry and remind your guests as well.

2. The temp is supposed to rise (slightly) on Saturday, but please give yourself plenty of time to travel and park. And remember, this is a public performance, meaning there will be guests who are outside of our usual circle!

3. There will be a lot of activity at PianoForte on Saturday! As such, our Showcase will begin at 1:30 p.m. sharp and will be followed immediately by a 30-minute reception. We must be cleared out completely by 4 p.m. to allow for preparation of the next program.

4. ARRIVAL TIME: I need all performers (including your accompanists) to arrive by no later than 12:30 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: Warm up will be in the 3rd floor piano showroom, NOT the mainstage. Your guests, however, should arrive by 1:15.

5. DRESS CODE: Let's step this up and be a bit more formal. Holiday colors are great (red, green, etc.) but not required.

6. PERFORMANCE: This program will be a bit different than usual. I will be your official emcee. There will be a musical overture to open the program, followed by my welcome and introduction of our performers. You will each come up in program order and play, Note: There will be NO introduction; your names and pieces are on the program.

Also note that there will be a moment of acknowledgement and brief tribute to the founder of our PianoForte MeetUp, Jonathan Cambry, followed by a special performance by Paul Holmes, who will be playing Jonathan's signature piece, Mouvement Musicaux, which will close out the first half of the program. I have included the order of performers at the bottom this message.

7. NOTE: If you are unable to attend for any reason, please hit me up on my cell phone at 708-856-7496.

Thanks so much, everyone!
