Litter Pick & Lunch for Free

Join the 2026 pick off event for this new Meetup group.10 volunteers gathered here in early December and made a meaningful difference but there’s plenty more litter to pick. Stretches of safe, walkable roadways with wide sidewalks & grassy areas; parking lot edges; lower brush areas; larger wooded areas. You can choose which type of area you want to rehab. Join four in my crew to clean, contribute & connect.

Please be on time for introductions & instructions. We’ll work a solid 2 hours then walk over to the Harris Teeter to wash up in their restrooms and enjoy a lunch they are providing free of charge in appreciation for our efforts. All supplies provided. Dress for the task & weather - closed toe shoes, long sleeves & pants, hats or hoods, layers. Our rain date will be Sunday, January 11. I’ll provide my cell to all registered attendees the day before the event in case you struggle to find us.
