About us
Coed adult pickup slow pitch softball at Wallace Park.
Join us in our easy going game of pickup softball. Bring a glove, bat, and what ever else you have to help us in our community game of slow pitch softball. This is just for fun.
Rules:
- 7 innings per game
- 9 or 10 players on the field
- Underhand slow-pitch only
- Pitch must have a high arc
- Batter starts with a 0–0 count
- Foul balls count as strikes
- Third strike foul ball is an out
- No bunting allowed
- No stealing bases
- Runner cannot leave base until the ball is hit
- Overrunning first base is allowed
- Force outs and tag outs apply
- 3 outs per inning side
- Fly balls caught are outs
- Mercy rule may end game early for large lead
- Home run limits may apply
- No sliding
- Batting order must stay consistent
- Team with most runs after 7 innings wins
- Extra innings may be played if tied
