π CHAMPIONSHIP DETERMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT π
How We Crown Our King of Court Champions:
TIMING: King of Court counting officially begins after the first 2 rounds (30 minutes). Starting in Round 3, we track every minute your team holds the King Court throne!
WINNING METHOD: The team with the most total time on King Court during the counting period (Rounds 3-8) wins the championship. We'll track your cumulative minutes throughout the 90-minute scoring window.
TIE-BREAKER: If two teams have the exact same King Court time at 8:30 PM, we go to SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME!
- One final 10-minute battle round
- Winner of that overtime round becomes the ultimate champion
- No mercy, no ties - pure pickleball glory on the line! πͺ
Example: Team A holds King Court for 35 total minutes, Team B holds it for 35 minutes = OVERTIME SHOWDOWN at 8:30 PM!
This ensures the most deserving team wins while giving us that epic finale if needed. May the best team reign supreme! π
