What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a highly addictive sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis using a paddle and plastic ball with holes, sometimes called a wiffle ball. It’s one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. The rules for pickleball are simple and very easy to pick up.
It’s easy to learn (tough to master), fun, highly sociable and can be super competitive. Whether you’re a beginner who just wants to get out and learn a new sport for fun or a seasoned player who craves the thrill of more competitive play, pickleball offers something for you.
PANSW
The Meetup Group is owned by The Pickleball Association of NSW (PANSW). PANSW is the State organisation for Pickleball which sits under the National body, PAA - Pickleball Association of Australia. We encourage you to join PANSW and stay up to date with all things Pickleball (Tournament, leagues, social play, rules etc) in NSW giving you access to the wider Pickleball community.
