The Ponds - ATP Pickleball Club - THURSDAY NIGHT Beginners Only Introduction

Fee to play this 30 minute session:
• ATP Pickleball Club / Pickleball Association NSW Members: $5
• Casual / Non-members: $10
• Casual / Non-members are required to complete our Risk Warning & Liability Waiver prior to playing each session.

Welcome to the ATP Pickleball Club’s Introduction to Pickleball session!

This 30-minute session is designed for new players who want to learn the game in a supportive, fun and easy-to-follow environment. No prior experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm! Hard 6:30pm start, please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier so you are ready to go!

Session Format:

• Introduction to the rules of pickleball and basic court positioning.
• Learn the fundamental skills: serving, returning, dinking and rallying.
• Once the session concludes, participants are strongly encouraged to watch (not participate in) the DUPR Competition Series games to further reinforce the rules and basic gameplay of Pickleball.
• Please note: this session is tailored for beginners and will not include full competitive or social play games.

Session Capacity & Booking:
• To ensure quality support and plenty of court time, this session is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
• All players must register via Meetup to secure their place.
• If no participants are registered 24 hours prior to the session start time, the session will be cancelled.

We have six (6) outdoor pickleball courts available. All equipment is provided, and paddles are available to borrow if required.

Our club has an inclement Weather Policy, and event updates, including cancellations, will be communicated via the ATP Pickleball Club WhatsApp group (Join the ATP Pickleball Club WhatsApp Group here).
