Anastasia State Park Love Fest!

Let’s Gather Again and Show Some Love and Support for our Beautiful Park! In partnership with Save Anastasia State Park \.

"I wanted to share some love for our beautiful park and hope you all can join in helping get the support and protection Anastasia State Park deserves.

On April 5th, 2025 join us for a state wide event. STATE PARK LOVE FEST (#stateparklovefest) at Anastasia State Park from 10AM-2PM.

We will be meeting at 9:45AM at the entrance of Anastasia State Park for sign waving and rallying and heading back to the Watersports Pavilion at around 11AM for a picnic/potluck where we can discuss the park bills and future environmental advocacy plans.

Folks are likely aware that there are bills are through the legislative process, CS/SB 80 and HB 209, but as currently written/amended, fall short of preventing the development threats we fought last year.

This event is so that we can act together again to provide all of the bill sponsors/co-sponsors the political cover (and nudge) they need to take the steps required to amend their bills to actually protect our parks.

PLEASE share! We want as much support as possible. "
