Regulation of 1,4 Dioxane in our water- Public Hearing

Our May meeting with be held at the public hearing regarding the new rules for 1,4 dioxane in our water organized by the The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission. At this hearing citizens will have an opportunity to express their opinions about the new rulings.

The hearing starts at 6 PM but if you wish to speak, sign up begins at 5 PM. The length of the hearing depends on the numbers of speakers. You are welcome to attend as much of the hearing that you wish.

Prior to the meeting we will meet at 4:30 PM for some social time at the Kindred Coffee and Kitchen at 116 E. Main Street, Unit A. From there we will head over to the hearing.
