Torreys & Grays via Kelso Ridge — Class 3 Scramble Loop (6.7 mi, 3,100 ft gain)

Overview:
Join us for a thrilling loop that includes both Torreys Peak (14,267 ft) and Grays Peak (14,270 ft) via the exposed Kelso Ridge scramble. This full-day outing is approximately 6.75 miles with 3,100 ft of gain, combining rugged scrambling with classic trail sections.

What to Expect:

Full 14er experience with both peaks

Class 3 ridge scramble (knife-edge, exposed sections)

Requires confident route-finding and scrambling skills

Descend via the standard Grays Trail

Bring:
Essential 14er gear including helmet, trekking poles, navigation tools, layers, and early-start mentality.

Meetup:

Depending on interest considering 🏕 at the trailhead or early, early Saturday departure from Colorado Springs. If we do Saturday only, we can meet in Georgetown and carpool to the trailhead. lmk what works best for you.
