๐๏ธ Ormes Peak from Blodgett Trailhead โ October Local Adventure
Details
Overview:
Join us for a local Colorado Springs adventure up Ormes Peak from the Blodgett Trailhead. This will be a solid fall conditioning hike with great views, steady climbing, and a chance to enjoy the foothills before winter fully settles in.
The primary plan is to hike Ormes Peak using the standard route from Blodgett. If the group is moving well, weather looks good, and everyone is feeling strong, we may consider extending the outing by traversing toward Blodgett Peak on the way down instead of returning by the standard route.
The traverse option is not guaranteed and will depend on conditions, pace, daylight, and group comfort.
---
What to Expect
- Local Colorado Springs foothills hike

This is not a race or summit-at-all-costs event. The goal is to get outside, move well together, and enjoy a solid local mountain day.

Meetup / Logistics
Because parking at the Blodgett Trailhead is very limited, weโll meet at the nearby Safeway on the way to the trailhead and consolidate into fewer vehicles.
If you have a larger vehicle and are comfortable driving, please try to keep a few seats open so we can carpool up together and reduce the number of cars at the trailhead.
Final meetup time and exact Safeway location will be confirmed in the event comments. Please arrive ready to transfer gear quickly so we can keep things moving.
